Back in 200 BIZ (before invasion of Zula), Zula and Spanlos existed in harmony. It was only 100 years later when corruption and greed plauged Spanlos. They became an empire, conquering small village after small village. Their borders streached from the bottom of Zandon to the Great River! The next village on the chopping block: Zula. Zula was a large village, welcoming of all newcomers. For 90 years, Spanlos sent spies into the village before launching a full scale invasion in 0 AIZ (After Invasion of Zula). Zula called for help from all villages, but noone listend to their cries.
That is until two adventures, Vinny and James, came along that their cries were finnaly heard. Vinny and James were rivals turned friends after fighting a gaurdian. Shortly after leaving the Lost Woods, they found Zula, under attack. They relentlessly fought and won the battle. After that, they journeyed deeper and deeper into Spanlos, making friedns out of animals, until they found the corrupt King Aahil, who also happened to be a dark wizard/rouge. They made quick work of him, but his pet beholder was released at the last second. It used its desintigration ray and kileld both. It hovered off into the sunset, not to be seen agin for hundreds of years.
