In 2000 AIZ, dragon-kind was constantly under threat from greatworms. By 2500 AIZ, new advancements in technology, along with the help of Tiamat and Bahamut allowed dragons to drive the greatworms off of the newly merged Omnia, made up of all older continents. Afterwards, the dragons spilt into two empires: The Chromatic Empire (blessed by Tiamat) and the Metalic Empire (blessed by Bahamut). They stood for milenia. That is until one shapeshifting red dragon, named Arorua, murdered the emperor of the metalic dragons. Chaos rose and the Metalic Empire fell into anarchy. The good metalic dragons were enslaved, bent to Tiamat's will. Then, Galeem came down to the metalic dragons for the first time in history. He gave the heir to the Metalic throne one wish. He wished for Caelum to be destroyed, only coming back together when a true hero came from another realm. Thus, Caelum splintered across time and space. This is the end of old Caelumian history.
