Now that you have a small home, you should work on improvng it. You'll probably want a bed so you can sleep through the night. You'll need three blocks of wool and three planks. Put one full row of wool on top of one full row of any type of planks in your crafting table. You should also make you home safer. As a famous Minecraft YouTube once said, wall = safety. As you expand, you should add torches so monsters can't spwan there. You can craft torches with one coal/charcoal on top of one stick. You can add whatever you want if you have enough materials and safety!
